CLEANING STAFF OPPORTUNITIES

We are seeking a detail oriented Apartment Housekeepers who will keep our units looking their absolute best. You’ll need the flexibility to work across 7 days – with varying days of the week. The hours are primarily from 9:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. We’ll work together to develop a flexible arrangement that suits us both.

Our ideal Housekeeper has a keen eye for detail while handling vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping duties. We seek to provide our guests with an amazing experience of Burleigh Heads while staying at our property, and your housekeeping services are a significant part of this. Candidates with prior cleaning experience are preferred, but we are willing to train hardworking people who are team players.

• Clean and tidy up apartments, stairwells and other common areas
• Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture
• Clean bathrooms including floors, toilets, showers and bathtubs
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Empty trash bins
• Change linens and towels and replace toiletries and kitchen/laundry starter items.
• Ensure all areas including laundry and balconies are cleaned and free of dirt and debris.
• Clean and check cubpoards, refrigerators, microwaves and kitchen contents to ensure all items are fresh and ready for the next guest
• Collaborate with the mangement team to complete the daily cleaning schedule
• Restock cleaning supplies in the hand cart
• Report any issues that require maintenance

• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Physical stamina for being on your feet throughout shifts
• Ability to climb up to four flights of stairs – property does not have lifts.
• Be able to lift and carry linens from cleaners area to units throughout the property on all floors.
• Able to lift upwards of 10 kilos
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions
• Time-management skills
• Desire to do a good job

Remuneration is based on experience.
